‘Tis the season, and with holiday cheer comes festive decorations, and as I’ve found, it’s no different when living on a boat. Some folks around here go all out with lights and decorations and they’re beautiful. Stringing lights on our trawler does pose a few problems. The big issue is available electric outlets. Luckily, we have an outlet up on the bridge where we can plug in a power strip. We needed a few extension cords to run up to there but we were able to wrap lights around our mast as well on the bow of the boat.
