ABOUT THIS BLOG
This blog was created in 2012, when we purchased a 1974 40′ trawler to live aboard and cruise full time. We’ve documented our unconventional life since then, and learned that living minimally has enabled us to experience so many things including early retirement. We didn’t want to wait until we were in our sixties to experience cruising the eastern coast of the U.S. and Bahamas by boat or to explore National Parks out west by RV. Follow along with us as the adventure continues…
RV LIFE
After 1 year cruising full time by RV, we’re on our second trip out west (from FL). We’ve managed to check off 8 national parks and are on our way to spending 7 months in Yellowstone.
BOAT LIFE
We spent 9 years living aboard full time and cruising from Florida to Massachusetts, to the Florida Keys, Dry Torguas as well as the Bahamas.
“Well if anything’s going to happen it’s going to happen out there.”
