So tomorrow’s the BIG DAY!  Randy and I are getting married here on Fort Myers Beach. Then on Sunday our crew (both Blue Turtle and Sea Crazy) will head out to anchor at New Pass until early Monday morning (like, 2am) when we head south to the Dry Tortugas.

The past couple of weeks have been absolutely crazy with wedding plans, errands, provisioning for our trip, family arriving in town and oh yeah that whole “work” thing. We’ve enjoyed having Randy’s Mom, sister and 2 nephews staying here on the beach this past week. Friends Todd and Sharon gave us a fabulous deal on their Fort Myers Beach rental house for them to stay in and it’s been so convenient having them close to us (like 2 streets over from the marina).

Every single day has been hectic and full and we are anxiously awaiting our celebration and vacation. Hopefully Sunday evening I’ll have time to post a recap of the wedding as we await the time to leave for the Dry Tortugas. The plan is to arrive in the Dry Tortugas Monday evening (weather permitting, of course) and stay through Friday, July 1st when we will head into Key West for a week. After a week in Key West with both of us working, we plan to either head back to the Dry Tortugas for another week if weather is good or go to Newfound Harbor where we anchored last year and visited Looe Key for diving.

We are so excited for the wedding tomorrow and our upcoming trip and looking forward to spending some time with Johnny, April and Randy’s sister and family.
