Since we had another full day at sea on our way to the Dry Tortugas, I decided I would fit in another workout. It was slightly bumpier than the day before, but that only added extra resistance and balance. I also added in some mountain climbers because I wanted to get in some cardio. Only equipment needed is a kettlebell or hand weight. I used a 15lb kettlebell.
Equipment needed:
15 lb kettle bell (you can also use a hand weight)
The workout:
- 50 Mountain Climbers
- 20 Overhead Tricep Extension
- 10 Bicep Curl holding kettlebell or dumbell (10 each side)
- 10 Superman Rollovers
- 20 Kettlebell Swings
- 20 Pushups (just regular ole’ pushups)
- 25 Plié Squats w/kettlebell — this is a squat with your toes turned out in a plié position. Kettlebell or weight is held with both hands in between your legs. (I had to brace myself w/one hand from falling while underway and kettebell in the other hand)
- 50 Mountain Climbers
- 20 Russian Twist
