Blue Turtle Cruising

W.P. Franklin Lock and Dam – Jan. 18-20

Last weekend we set out for a long weekend to one of our favorite winter spots, Franklin Locks. We made this trip back in November right after Thanksgiving and we just love it this time of year. The cool weather makes it nice (and less buggy) and we enjoy building bon fires in the evenings and roasting marshmallows for smore’s. This weekend, in particular, was pretty chilly (by south Florida standards) but we managed to stay warm with the camp fire, good company and Bailey’s and Coffee :). My parents came on Island Time with my sister and nephews and my parents friends Alice and Andy came on September Song, a beautiful Monk trawler.
