Debby comes to Cape Coral Yacht Basin

For the past couple of days, Tropical Storm Debbie has created a lot of rain, wind and waves here in the Cape Coral Yacht Basin. For new live a boards, like Randy and I, this is possibly the best shake down we can have for finding and fixing any leaks we may have in our old boat. Randy has managed to fix several leaky windows already (thankfully!) and has discovered a couple new ones—thanks Debby! One interesting thing about living aboard through a tropical storm is that the water level is so high we almost need a ladder to get on our boat. Also, we’ve dealt with a lot of rocking and swinging in our slip (Randy’s had to add and move lines throughout the night).
