Blue Turtle Cruising

Weekend in photos

This weekend, Randy and I had my nephews stay overnight so we had 3 boys to keep busy this Sunday. Thankfully, we have a lot of options here on the beach. This morning, Corey and Jack had the opportunity to sail a sunfish. Our friend Dave has a small sunfish sailboat that he let us use. After a week of sailing camp, Corey had learned the basics and once he got the hang of this new boat, he a Jack were whizzing around the bay. They did capsize twice but did an excellent job righting the boat and continuing on. After that, Randy’s friend Rob and his son Reef joined us at the beach until we go rained out, then we headed to the pool and later had a Snook Bight resident pool party. In between thunderstorms, we swam, grilled burgers, had a few cocktails and a great time!
